Sterilization radiation requires light sources that are especially strong and environmentally friendly. High-energy UV-C lamps provide the perfect solution. UV-C radiation ranges at wavelengths between 200 nanometers (nm) and 280 nanometers. This radiation is ideal for highly effective sterilization of water, air and surfaces and eliminates the need for chemical products. UV-C radiation is also used in many other areas of application, such as sterilization of water in swimming pools, in water purification systems, ponds and water sprayers. This type of radiation is used to clean the air in hospitals and laboratories, catering and tourist facilities, shops and in industrial or commercial premises as well as for many applications in the food industry, animal accommodation and air ducts of air conditioners.

Ensure safety before use!
Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause burns to the eyes and skin. All personnel, plants and animals must leave the disinfection area during use. After disinfection with a UV-C lamp, the room is ventilated for 30-40 minutes and only then can staff and animals re-enter the room.

The difference between an ozone lamp and an ozone-free lamp
1. Ozone-free UV lamps also do not produce ozone and are therefore used in the household.
2. An ozone-based UV lamp produces ozone during operation and can therefore sterilize all inaccessible surfaces to which ultraviolet rays do not reach.
