A team of four foreign journalists - Yuri Barron from the United States, John Bills from Wales, Will Dunn from Great Britain and James Cosier from Australia, all of whom have been living in Slovenia for many years - visited, photographed and selected 100 favorite places in Slovenia for eight years. The book The Slovenia Book – Top 100 destinations in English was created, which was published in 2015 and has already been reprinted three times, selling more than 15,000 copies during that time.

The almost 300-page book contains an overview of many attractions in Slovenia and describes the shortest routes to them. Sights are divided according to the division of Slovenia into macro-regions.
